A variety of visualization techniques are utilized throughout the process from imagery boards, sketches, and game pieces to outline workflow to floor plan options and the heavy use of BIM to communicate the design to stakeholders. Another level of visualization method that our team has been utilizing within the design process is virtual reality.
Virtual Reality is helping solve real-world problems in healthcare design and construction. This allows the project team to use VR to aid decision-making and design review for critical details and architectural elements through this immersive environment with the use of a headset.
